"Thanks to a voluntary strategy and teams which embody our values every day, PSA Banque France is giving itself the means to actively pursue its profitable growth."

A dynamic commercial activity

In 2017, PSA Banque France confirmed the dynamism of its commercial activity, supported by the very good performance of sales of Peugeot, Citroën and DS vehicles, whose overall volumes rose by 6.5%, while the all-brand car market only increased of 5.1%.

More than 289,000 financing applications were granted to end-users, a positive evolution of 4.7% compared to 2016. This increase is accompanied by an increase in the average amount financed per contract and, as a result, an increase in production of 13% to 3 680 million euros for the year 2017 in new vehicles and used vehicles.

The penetration rate of new vehicle financing to end-user customers stood at 28.3% of sales of Peugeot, Citroën and DS vehicles in 2017, down almost one point compared to the 2016 financial year. This global rate masks the good performance of financing granted to individual customers, which stands at 42.3%, up 0.6 points compared to 2016 thanks to strong growth in loyalty offers and in particular Lease with Purchase Option.
On the other hand, the financing granted to companies is down by 3.1 points compared to the previous year. The investment of PSA Banque France in Free2Move Lease, after a first year of launch, is the expected response in 2018 for the reconquest of this market.

Refinancing diversification strategy

PSA Banque France pursued its strategy of diversifying its refinancing by developing access to capital markets and notably achieved its first two bond issues under the EMTN program, with maturities of 3 and 5 years, respectively, for an amount of 500 million euros each. In September 2017, PSA Banque France also obtained a second rating from the rating agency Standard & Poor's.

In a competitive but nevertheless buoyant market, PSA Banque France continues to distinguish itself by focusing its efforts on digital and organizational transformation (in particular implementation of the electronic signature and the secure web client area).

PSA Banque France and the strategic plan "Push to Pass"

In addition, PSA Banque France contributes positively to the PSA Group's "Push to Pass" strategic plan by supporting brands and networks during the launch of new models (3008 and 5008 for Peugeot, C3 and C3 Aircross for Citroën, and the preparation of the launch of the DS7 Crossback), and promoting the development of loyalty and mobility offers for new and used vehicles.

Thanks to its voluntary strategy, as well as teams that embody every day our values of enthusiasm, respect, transparency, result-oriented culture and creativity, PSA Banque France is thus able to actively pursue its profitable growth.
